The Korean Society of Radiopharmaceuticals and Molecular Probes (KSRAMP) was launched on February 20th, 2014 in Seoul, Korea (President: Jae Min Jeong, Ph.D.). After a successful hosting of ISRS 2013 in Jeju by the Korean Council of Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry (Chair: Dae Yoon Chi, Ph.D.) with the support of the SRS, active discussions to promote Korean academic excellence about radiopharmaceutical and molecular imaging sciences were made in Korea, and it was decided to launch an academic society. A promotional meeting of KSRAMP was held on Nov 11th in 2013. KSRAMP will be an academic society focusing on development of new radiopharmaceuticals and molecular probes, and would also like to pursue international relationships with the SRS and other related societies for advancement of academic excellence and education.
